Źródliska is Łódź’s historic park with water, a palm house nearby, and playgrounds that work when Piotrkowska Street is too much pavement.
A factory city’s green reset
Łódź is brick, courtyards, and long streets. Park Źródliska is the 19th-century answer: ponds, old trees, and a calmer tempo than Manufaktura’s crowds. Families use it when they need shade and water to look at, not another shopping-mall soft play. It pairs well with the nearby palm house if weather turns.
Play and parent ease
Play equipment sits in pockets rather than one mega-set. Paths are mostly stroller-friendly. Shade is a strong point under mature trees. Toilets are easier near the palm house / busier gates than on the far pond loops. Water edges need the usual toddler attention. Cafés are around the park, not always inside.

The seed map has many Łódź playgrounds. Źródliska is the named classic; add a second pin in Bałuty or Widzew another day. Photos of ponds plus the actual swings help visitors who only know Piotrkowska. There is no City Icon quest in Łódź yet, so this is a pure park-facilities contribution.
