Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to ParkConnect and the Family Park iOS app (the “Service”) operated by Notafra.
Last updated: September 4, 2026 · Effective: August 1, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
On iOS, the Service is also licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), except where these Terms set additional rules for accounts, content, and community features.
2. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
- The Service is designed for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children under 13.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. The Service
The Service helps parents discover playgrounds and parks, check in when visiting, share facility information and photos, post in the community, track visit campaigns, and schedule or RSVP to parent meetups. Features may change, and availability can vary between web and iOS.
Park listings, hours, facilities, safety scores, parent-ease ratings, OSM data, and community tips are informational only. See our Disclaimer.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, dox, or exploit other users or children
- Post illegal, pornographic, hateful, or fraudulent content
- Upload photos of minors without appropriate parental consent and care
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Scrape, abuse APIs, or interfere with Service security or availability
- Use the Service for commercial spam, unauthorized advertising, or malware
- Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent access controls except as allowed by law
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Guidelines, with or without notice when needed to protect users or the Service.
5. User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, photos, facility answers, map pins, meetup descriptions, comments). By submitting content you grant Notafra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content, exploitation, threats, doxxing, spam, and illegal material are prohibited. We remove violating content and eject the user who posted it, typically within 24 hours of a report.
Users can flag posts, remove abusive posts from the community feed, and block other users. Removing a post hides it for everyone immediately and notifies us to review. Blocking hides that user’s content from your feed immediately. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not infringe others’ rights or privacy.
6. Meetups and in-person gatherings
Meetups and appointments are arranged by parents. Notafra is not a party to any in-person meeting, does not supervise gatherings, and does not conduct background checks. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to attend, bringing appropriate adult supervision for children, and assessing personal safety. See the Disclaimer.
7. Third-party services and data
- Maps and playground data may come from OpenStreetMap contributors and other sources; attribution is required and appreciated.
- Authentication may use Apple, Google, and Firebase.
- YouTube links and embeds are governed by YouTube / Google terms.
- Third-party sites linked from the Service have their own policies; we are not responsible for them.
8. Intellectual property
The Service’s branding, design, software, and original materials (excluding user content and third-party data such as OSM) are owned by Notafra or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the Service.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTAFRA DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTAFRA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM PARK VISITS, MEETUPS, RELIANCE ON SAFETY SCORES OR FACILITY DATA, OR USER CONTENT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (IF ANY) OR (B) EUR 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Notafra against claims arising from your content, your meetups or in-person conduct, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account where that control is available. We may stop providing the Service or terminate access for violations, risk, or operational reasons.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Courts in Poland shall have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
