A park you can do in 90 minutes
Ogród Saski is Lublin’s classic 19th-century city garden: fountains, a pond, flower beds, and a playground that does not require a full-day expedition. That is the point. If your child still naps in a stroller, you can walk the loop, hit the play set, and be back toward Krakowskie Przedmieście before anyone melts down. ParkConnect lists many Lublin playgrounds; Saski is the one visitors recognise by name.
Facilities to check before you go
Shade is decent along the tree-lined alleys and thinner on the open lawn. The playground can feel busy after school. Toilets exist but are not always obvious — use the in-app checklist and leave a verification when you find them. Cafés sit on the streets around the park rather than inside it, which is fine if you plan a pastry stop on the way out.
Make it count on the map
Tag Ogród Saski, then look at OSM pins within a kilometre. Lublin’s 52 Parks week works well because the city is walkable: one named garden plus two courtyard playgrounds is a realistic Saturday. If you are visiting from Warsaw, this is a calmer park day than Łazienki crowds.
